VENTURA – A man was critically injured Friday night in Ventura after a motorcycle crash.
The incident took place at about 11:40 PM on Balsam Avenue just south of Ventura near 237th Street. Cory Lynn West, age 41 of Ventura was north bound on Highway S14 and entered the closed north bound lane and lost control of his 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle. He then struck the temporary stop light trailer.
West was said to be unconscious and was transported by Mercy Air Life to Mercy Hospital in Mason City.
