“Kale is a proven scorer who has been well coached and brings two years of Big Ten experience to our program,” said Drake head coach Ray Giacoletti. “We the see the addition of Kale as a very important piece as we continue to build our program and we’re excited to add his versatile basketball abilities to our team.”

As a freshman, he scored 4.9 points per game and sank 34 three-pointers, the third most on the team. Of his 17 starts as a freshman, 14 came against Big Ten competition.

“We are pleased to welcome Kale back to Des Moines,” Giacoletti added. “He is a high-character, self-motivated person and an excellent student. There are so many positives with his decision to attend Drake University and join our program.”
