MASON CITY – A Mason City felon accused of violent crimes and wanted for months for parole and probation violations turned himself in to police Tuesday night.
Benjamin Bravo Gonzalez, age 31, turned himself in at the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday at about 10 PM.
Gonzalez had been wanted since June for violating a no-contact order with a victim he had assaulted. Gonzalez also never made a payment on $7,506.99 in court costs and restitution in that case. Gonzalez is also accused of violating his parole related to a felony theft guilty plea.
