FOREST CITY – The Waldorf College Education department will host student capstone presentations on Thursday, May 1 in the Atrium Conference Room. The formal presentations will be observed by the members of the Education Department faculty and staff, but are also open to the community.
Presenters will utilize a variety of strategies to enlighten the viewers about how the learner has met the ten Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC) Principles during their experience in the Teacher Preparation Program. The presentation will reveal growth and learning that has taken place in the classroom, during clinicals, group work, during personal and professional reflection, within seminar experience, and during student teaching.
Each presentation is roughly 30 minutes long followed by a question and answer session. Those attending are asked to arrive early to support the presenters and to be part of their journey through their Waldorf College learning experience. Please do not enter after the presenter has already started. No presentations will begin early in order to allow timely arrival.
