Mason City woman accepts plea on drug possession charge

MASON CITY – A Mason City woman charged with drug possession accepted a plea deal and is serving a jail sentence at this time.

Laura Elizabeth Genzler, age 28, entered into a plea deal last month to possession of marijuana. Her husband, Jason Genzler, was transported to Mason City front he state prison in Newton to testify in the case.

Laura Genzler was sentenced to two days in jail and $1,140.00 in fines and court costs. She was allowed a $50 a month payment plan.

She needs to stay in jail.

Lock the little turd up and throw away the key.

Well there are some more fines and court cost that will never get paid. Waste of time and money.

The plea deal is time for jail time.
