UPDATED: Missing Mason City teen found

missingMASON CITY – A 14-year-old boy who was reported missing to Mason City police on April 4, 2014, has been found and taken to Francis Lauer Youth Services (FLYS).

According to a missing persons report, Skyler T. Moorehead had last been seen on midnight on April 4.

Police told NIT on Tuesday that Skyler’s mom found out who he may be with late on April 6. Police “checked a couple addresses. The first was vacant,” an officer said.

Officers found him at a house in the 500 block of North Jackson Avenue. Skyler was then transported to FLYS.

Thank god they found this kid safe and sound. Better get him and whoever parents him a great deal of HELP before he hurts himself or others. This is a criminal in the making and we’ve got enough of them as it is.
