RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – One person was injured and hospitalized after an accident south of Rockwell Saturday morning.
Around 6:20 am, Saturday morning, emergency crews were dispatched to Partridge Avenue and 120th Street for a one vehicle accident.
At the scene, about three miles south of Rockwell on Highway 65, a Silver Trailblazer could be seen facing west, into the concrete side of the north-south bridge. Debris was scattered from the east side of the bridge all the way to where the SUV had come to a stop.
The vehicle had a Hampton Business logo of “Buresh Building Systems, Inc.”, on the window.
The driver was taken to Mercy Medical Hospital in Mason City by the Air Med helicopter.
