DES MOINES – Gov. Terry E. Branstad announced Monday that he will sign Senate File 2341, an Act relating to the rebate of sales tax imposed and collected at an automobile racetrack facility and including effective date and retroactive applicability provisions, into law Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. in Newton, Iowa. The bill will be signed before Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds hold their Jasper County “Iowa is Working” town hall meeting.
Senate File 2341 passed the Iowa Senate 36-9 and the Iowa House 82-14.
