Man who escaped from Beje months ago is captured and brought to CG Jail

MASON CITY – A Mason City man who escaped from the Beje Clark halfway house months ago was caught by police and returned to jail.

According to Mason City police, Beje Clark reported 22-year-old and convicted felon Drake Shimon absent from custody on December 17, 2013. Police applied for an arrest warrant charging him with felony D escape. The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department arrested him a full three months later on March 17, 2014.

Shimon, who has a history of skipping court, was transported to the Cerro Gordo County jail and held without bond.  He awaits a March 28 hearing.

@Philly-just what does that comment have to do with this article? You get farther off the wall every day.

Could have been a great Israeli soldier were he in Israel. America has this way of beating people down to conform them into soulless worker drone roles.

Turns out is he a great north Iowa theif… Send him to Isreal. That would be a good place for this low life.
