MASON CITY – Police have brought a second charge of felony delivery of methamphetamine against a Mason City woman.
Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department alleges that Staci Jo Slater, age 31, deliver meth on July 23, 2013. They charged her with a felony C controlled substance violation. Police arrested her on February 28th at the Community Kitchen, and she promptly put up $2,000 bond and was released from jail. She awaits a March 31, 2014 arraignment in that case.
On March 12, Mason City police brought a second charge of felony C controlled substance violation, alleging that Slater alleging that Slater delivered meth on October 15, 2013. A warrant was immediately issued for her arrest, and Mason City police officers found her at a North End residence on March 14th just after 5 AM and took her into custody.
Slater is now in the Cerro Gordo County Jail, held on $10,000 cash-only bond on this charge. She awaits a March 21 preliminary hearing.
