Troubled Mason City woman arrested for second time in a week

MASON CITY – First she was involved with a home invasion.  Then she was accused of trespassing and criminal mischief.  Now, drunk driving.

The trouble keeps piling on for this young Mason City woman, Victoria Carrott.

Police said this week that Carrott’s latest arrest came Thursday after a two-car collision at the 400 block of 9th Street NW.  Carrott was arrested at the scene and charged with second offense operating while intoxicated.  Her first offense came in 2008, also on a charge from Mason City police.

Carrott was released on her own recognizance as she awaits a March 28 hearing.

Carrott was arrested last week on a warrant related to charges of trespassing and criminal mischief after she allegedly went to a person’s house and damaged two doors there.

Carrott has been on probation since 2012, when she participated in a home invasion that caused some Mason City schools to go into lockdown.

Kashmir, Its people like you that love to take of trash that belong in jail. I have been a working man since I was 17 and now 60 I’m tired of the lazy deadbeat trash that play the crime system and when they get in trouble they cry like a baby and beg that they not be jailed, UNTIL NEXT TIME. CYA

It must be nice to be so perfect. Seems to me, this is her problem…no one else’s. You know… before I even scoped the comments I already knew it would be you two commenting(referring to Jarhead and LVS). You two redneck fellars ever think about getting a real life over yonder way? Try spending some time reading the Bible guys. We were all born imperfect and everyone-well bleeds red. You guys going to be taking care of her fines, etc, etc? Have a good day.

@Kashmir-I have read the bible and it is a book of fiction just like your mind. I am a little older that USMC but I believe the same way he does. I am sick and tired of seeing the same low fife P.O.S. in and out of jail every damn week. All they do is cost us money for the police, courts and welfare. then we have to listen to the poor me’s on here crying because they don’t get enough welfare or someone (who worked for what they have) makes more money than they do.

they are a bunch of pos that have learned the system and our judges except way to many plea bargins, hell they don’t care they get a big fat pay check and have all the protection in the world. Just a bunch of bleeding hearts. OUR SYSTEM JUST PLAIN SUCKS

Just another prime example of people getting chance after chance after chance. Granted these are newer charges and have yet to receive a punishment. Its pretty pathetic when my children’s time out and a loss of a toy is a harsher punishment then what she has gotten thus far. I’m sure she will throw a pity party, blame others, and not learn a damn thing.

@get-and that is what they do.
