MASON CITY – Standing water at Gracious Estates is making entering and leaving the mobile home park a challenge for some residents, NIT is told.
“The water is 6″ to 10″ deep,” a resident told NIT. What appears to be a small pond has formed just inside the only entrance / exit to Mason City’s largest trailer park.
Another resident said “the water makes it a little scary coming and going. You just have to take it slow and hope for the best.”
NIT was informed that Gracious Estates management told resident that they would be “doing the drains” on Thursday which would supposedly take some of the water away.
