MASON CITY – The 1 seeded NIACC women will face 16 seeded Dakota-Bottineau on Tuesday, March 18th at 3 p.m. in the opening round of the NJCAA Divison II women’s basketball tournament in Overland Park, Kan.
For the 1st time in school history, Dakota-Bottineau will be headed to the NJCAA DII National Tournament. They beat the North Platte Lady Knights 83-67 in the District F Championship.
Heading into the tournament, the NIACC women are well represented on the all-region team. Chelsey Jacox, Cortni Rush and Lateeka Thompson made the first team, Kadejah Young and Morgan Walker made the second team and Emily Bell and Sierra Ford-Washington made the third team.
