Black politician says President Obama should be hanged

NIT – A Republican candidate for the Florida legislature has called for the hanging of President Barack Obama.

Joshua Black

Joshua Black, an African-American candidate for the Florida House of Representatives, wrote via social media this week that he has basically had it with Mr. Obama, saying “I’m past impeachment. It’s time to arrest and hang him high.”

The tweet has caused an uproar around the nation, with some calling for Black to give up his candidacy. One of Black’s Twitter followers wrote back to him, saying “is it justice to advocate arrest and hanging without a trial? No, there’s an ugly historic precedent for that: lynching.”

Locally, prolific opinion writer and blogger Todd Blodgett of Clear Lake joined the chorus Wednesday, saying “In America, we can dislike our leaders as much as we wish, and openly express that dislike. But calling for the execution of a President is… crazy.”

Black claimed that the Secret Service had visited him in the wake of the controversial tweet.

As more people have piled on and left their opinions on Black’s statement – with most strongly disagreeing – Black said there was a misunderstanding.

“Blasphemy and false accusation,” Black proclaimed, as people all over the country picked up on his words and shared them.  “I didn’t threaten. I said it is justice. It is,” Black said, trying to clarify his original statement.

The Chairman of the Florida Republican Party wants Black out of the legislative race, telling a Florida reporter that Black should bow out, and “that garbage does not represent the values of the people I know [no matter what party.]”

Black is not afraid of making powerful statements on hot-button topics.

On the subject of abortion, Black said “Blood money. That’s what this is. Anyway you slice it (gruesome pun intended), this is murder. I won’t advocate it. I won’t tolerate it. Those who commit murder need to repent. And we don’t need to pay them to cut off our offspring.”

What is your opinion.  Did Joshua Black go too far?

Had the pleasure of playing a lot of golf with Mayor Daley personal attorney. He said the government has plenty on president Obama to charge him in the Rescoe and blagojevich trails. They will not do it as they worry that it would cost to much to rebuild after riots in most urban areas. Clinton was impeached not Nixon. Remember the president named Monica Clinton, even his own cabinet said he stopped working after that. Roman went down hill after dictators started bypassing the senate. Doesn’t that remind you of Tuesday and the pen comment.

You are right Nixon resigned before he could be impeached but Clinton was only impeached in the house but not the senate that’s why he stayed in office and that’s why they haven’t impeached Obama yet because we could only impeach him in the house and not the senate, unless the republicans take control of the senate this November.

It’s about time people are opening their eyes.

This remark is just as stupid as our spend o crat dictator president saying pot is not that bad just to try to get the vote of the drug culture. There is nothing this fool will not say or do to turn this great nation into a socialist society.

This is just red meat to this crowd, any excuse for a chance to vent your real bias.

It just shows that republican whackos come in all colors.

The republican mind is very primitive and tribal, based on religious myths and prejudice.
More like the old crowds of the Roman colosseums. That was more interested in seeing blood then any things else.
Screaming anger and murder when they weren’t getting their evil fix.

Funny you choose the name judas. The liberal mind is is filled with murder, abortion, and the stupidity that comes with believing everything that is told to you as long as it comes from a liberal. The narrowmindness and complete lack of common sense gives them what we all can see, the stupidity of all time.

If solar energy and wind energy didn’t work, I’d say you may be on to something Maybe…but it does. It’s not a pipe dream. The policies of inclusiveness, justice, and environmental safety are not delusions…but have been proven effective time and time again. You’re simple and delusional. Go back to work. At least when your working, your fingers aren’t typing.

I don’t know why you brought up solar and wind power, I have nothing against that. Matter of fact sometime within the next few months I plan on purchasing a solar system and a wind turbine.

“GO BACK TO WORK” OMG, that was probably the funniest thing you have ever posted. Like you would have any clue what that even is. Hahahahaha….. go back to work……you are one funny guy.

they said I was hung. and they were right!

Joshua Black has the courage to say what quite possibly a lot of people are thinking. But, if a white man would have said this, the world would be up in arms, and he would be in jail. Where’s the NAACP, Sharpton, and Jackson when they’re needed.

You mean that’s what YOU are thinking. You would like to hang a black man. Right?

Who else would you like to hang, tell us, we’d like to know.

Well on second thought, I think I’ll hang myself.

Even if he doesn’t have respect for the president (I can understand that) he must have respect for the office. He is still our president until he is impeached and must be treated as such.

I think you mean until he is out of office.

He’s not going to be impeached. You have to commit a crime for that to happen. (In case you didn’t know).

Like Nixon for example, he was supposedly in on a burglary. That’s why the tried to impeach him. It was at that hotel, oh what was it’s name. Oh yes the Watergate. You may remember that name from somewhere perhaps.

How about theft, accessory to murder, fraud, and that’s just off the top of my head.

Geez #Maybe, you’re one to talk about accessory to murder. Didn’t you say you were in Iraq?

Peter, your ignorance on that subject is showing your stupidity. You have absolutely no idea what went on over there so you are just talking out your a$$, again.

What’s there to know? Enlighten me.

I already have but you choose not to believe me but what the BIASED news wants you to believe so why even try.

Maybe, It is interesting that you went over there, you’ll never be robbed of that. I happen to have disagreed with the policy which sent you. Humans are always going to possess a macabre curiosity when it comes to war and death, and gruesome intellectual curiosity is fulfilled every day in animal experiment labs, as it was in 1930’s Germany under the Nazi doctor scientist Josef Mengele, and Eduard Wirth’s human experimentation in Auschwitz.

I’m sure it was fascinating to you, and adrenaline filled, scary at times also, but maybe not since your team was so heavily supported and you knew the odds were in your favor to win.

What’s done is done now, but I still reject this part of American History. I was well aware of the atmosphere between 2001 and 2003. In fact I was in Washington DC on the eve of the opening highlights of the Iraq Invasion. No one knew if a terrorist attack was in the works…

I think I’ve already stated to you what I would have suggested for policy to follow had I been in a position to be listened to in 2001. My very first thought was containment, border security, cutoff to all foreign military aid, sanctions, and travel restrictions. You and your military family became quite wealthy from the war, and certain segments of our society became enriched from war money. Soldiers returned home and bought themselves new SUV’s new Harley’s, took their wives and kids on vacations, bought new hi-tech guns and video games. It’s quite a heyday when war spoils are to be had.

Who would have gotten the money had I been in control? Wind and Solar companies, Earthship Construction Teams, Manufacturers of electric cars, Hydrogen Energy Proponents. But that’s what happens when a Bush gets in the White House; an entire different philosophy goes forward.

Maybe, while you and your buddies were in Iraq living it up, fulfilling your reason for living… I have to tell you the Bush Presidency Years were the darkest in my life. Imagine how one set of humans can be living high on life feeling like gods, while another segment completely down in the dumps. But when Obama won, that completely flipped around didn’t it? You and LVS probably began feeling like I did when Dubya won.

This is why I say we should just split America and be done with it. 50% for you, 50% for me.

See you have absolutely no clue what went on over there while we were so called living it up. We slept outside on cots winter and summer, rain snow or shine. It wasn’t till the end that we slept in tents with A/C or heat. We ate MRE’s when we could get them and warm bottled water. We had wild dogs attack us at night and insurgents during the day. I lost friends over there while I was living it up. As for the heavily favored to win our ROE (rules of engagement) stated that we could return fire but that was changed to return fire IF we got our BC permission. We were ambushed and pinned down for almost an hour and could NOT return fire because we could not get ahold of them. Insurgents would fire mortars at us from right outside the base from a mosque and we could NOT return fire because they were on a mosque. Every advantage we had was given to them by our leaders. Not to mention the americans that came over there to stop us from doing our missions by protesting, putting our lives in danger just to make a political statement.

Wait a minute s##thead, are you implying that we took spoils from the Iraqi people? You are saying that we stole from them? Ok now I want to meet you to discuss this.

Indirectly YES there were spoils of war to be had: THE OIL. But mainly I meant the tax payer dollars that went to pay soldier hazardous duty pay which went in turn to many a purchase of Harley’s, SUV’s. You may not call that a direct spoil of war, but I see it as all part the excessive spending on war. What happened to those suitcases of millions of dollars of bribe money that went missing? You cannot tell me that some US soldiers didn’t smuggle some of that out. Not saying it was you, but War is chaos, and during chaos, men are always out to make a buck.

2 difficult to predict calculus scenarios: 1. Continuing on in Never Ending War and Occupation like Rummy and Cheney wanted…or 2. Pulling out and watching the country devolve into chaos once again.

For these two reasons I see the war in Iraq as a waste of money and lives. Many appreciate your meting out of justice, but in the end it just didn’t return profit…besides to OIL people.

Had our nation went my route, we would be more energy secure and on the path to longterm stability and independence. Now we have to go down my path anyway, but pay down the debt for having gone down Bush’s path which plunged us into a recession and depression which is still in recovery.

It wasn’t worth it. that’s my view. No offense intended to your personal efforts and experience. But as you wear that flag that I am still a card carrying member of, I have rights to disagree with the actions you performed in my name.

The problem with the “bring it on” approach that Bush was going for, was that it drew out among the population men who fought Americans not because they were Al-Quaeda, were part of the Ba’athists, or even hated America for that matter, but were merely trying to defend their homeland and honor, just as any American boys would pick up guns and fight off foreign invaders. How many of them did you guys undoubtedly kill?

The entire thing was ill planned, ill thought out and designed with two purposes: Revenge & Oil Profits.

Do you understand the reasons you were there, or don’t you care? Actually let me rephrase the question and add another one as well:

1. Why do you think you were in Iraq?

2. Did you see your efforts in Iraq as helping America stay safe, and in what way?

if you were in charge we would be a third world nation with a military consisting of illegals and gays. I was making at my civilian job almost 50,000 a year before I was activated and less than 24,000 while deployed so excuse me if I say screw you on receiving hazardous duty pay, plus getting shot at every day I deserved it. If you don’t like the way it was then take your scrany little a$$ to Canada like all the other pussies did, and that includes Clinton.

I disagree with mercenary deployments of United States troops. That I do. If any hostiles were to breach our borders, I would gladly pick up a gun to defend the homeland. So I guess I’m no different than many of the Iraqi men who were wearing their version of NRA hats while fighting off American invaders. But I fundamentally disagree with being deployed in non-critical applications. You chose to go, I wouldn’t have. It’s nothing to do with Canada or being a scrawny ass…it has to do with philosophy and policy.

Besides, your military is the one hiring all the alien soldiers, not me. Just as they were hiring ex LA gang bangers to go fight in Iraq. That to me is more than dubious.

90% of the Iraqi’s that I met were glad that we were there, they would hug us and shake our hands. The ones that we were fighting was al quada that was there training from other countries. That’s why when I refer to fighting I always said the insurgents and not the Iraqi’s.

Maybe, I don’t doubt some incidental good came from your occupation of Iraq. At what cost though? And how long can it be sustained? I will agree with you on something: If the country made the decision to go to war, they should have gone all the way with it, conquered Iraq completely and absorbed it as a US territory. That’s about the only way it could ever really become Americanized like people may have been hoping for. When it comes to Islamist tyrants, I have no problem thinking of them dead in the ground. For that my hat’s off to you. But there were too many problems under Bush’s plan for me to get behind in spirit or body.

I still think that America contains two distinct nations. If you guys want to be the world’s interventionists and police, then I think you should do it under your own flag and banner. I think East and West America need to develop. You guys follow your policy and we will follow ours. As American cousins, we can still hold good international relations with one another. ARe you accepting of that proposal? To split America into halves?

NOPE, there is a happy medium but both side have to be willing to give in some.

You’d never admit it, but I think you are scared to think of half of the people with my type of consciousness leaving the nation and becoming their own. You rely on thinkers such as myself to keep this country decent. I think you need us more than we need you. I admit there is need for security, but if you continue down this path of unbridled war making, more intellectuals will be calling for separation. Right now your kind have teetered over the edge and need to settle down. Domestically you are interfering with our quality of life. The militarization has spilled over into police forces and persecution, and as I’ve mentioned the S.A. Brown shirts are terrorizing the populations. Metaphorically it is like Sauron’s war machine of Orcs, Goblins, Half-Orcs running amuk. If it continues, separation will be brought up as an option. I know you enjoy the diversity found in America, and the last thing you’d want is to be stuck in Alabama with your own kind. So behave yourselves.

@Philly-you certainly have a inflated opinion of your worth to the citizens of this country. You are nothing but a drain on society and a total waste of space. Your importance is the least of anyone I could imagine. You are a naught with a hole in it, a waste of skin and space. You have no reason for existing and serve no purpose for anything productive. Go crawl back into your basement and fade away. No one will remember you or anything you have posted by tomorrow.

People like you LVS bolster the cause for separation. Every time you open that rotten decaying mouth of yours, it’s to insult or belittle someone. Crusty does more than just describe your underwear…it describes your soul.

Again, you draw conclusions which are faulty. I never said I “worship” the sun. I said that government should be based around its principles because it is the strongest source of energy we have, and is the basis for all life. I adore the sun, and revere it for its capabilities, but I do not worship it as a God. LVS, there isn’t much you’re right about these days. You’re slipping.
