Two-thirds of Americans say Obamacare has not yet affected them

doctor-measuring-blood-pressureNIT – A recent poll indicates that almost half of all Americans believe that the Affordable Care Act will make the health care situation worse in the long run.

According to Gallup, the situation is nearly unchanged from a November poll. Only slightly more than one-third of Americans think that Obamacare will improve the health care situation.

Gallup reported that Americans disapprove of Obamacare 54% to 38&, currently, and have almost always had a higher disapproval rate. In November of 2012, right after President Obama was re-elected, 48% approved of the health care law overhaul while 45% disapproved.

At this time, 66% Americans say that the law has not affected them personally, either positively or negatively.

HealthCare.gov claims that since October 1st, more than 6 million people have enrolled in coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace or Medicaid. The open enrollment period ends on March 31st, 2014.
