Poll says Obama, Clinton most admired by Americans

NIT – Americans have again selected Barack Obama and Hillary clinton as the most admired man and woman, respectively.

Obama has been selected for the sixth year in a row, according to a Gallup poll, while Hillary Clinton reigns for the twelfth straight year.

President Obama was the easy winner of the poll, besting former President George W. Bush 16% to 4%. Pope Francis also got 4% of the selections. Obama got 30% of the selections in 2012.

Mrs. Clinton got 15% of the nods, while Oprah Winfrey was next at 6% and First Lady Michele Obama got 5%.

According to Gallup, each year, the polling organization asks Americans to name, in an open-ended format, the man and woman living anywhere in the world they admire most. This year’s poll was conducted Dec. 5-8.
