WAYNE COUNTY, IA – An Iowa man is dead and another injured after a two-car collision in Southern Iowa early Friday.
According to a report from the Iowa State Patrol, a vehicle driven by 54 year-old Paul Frost of Centerville was westbound on Highway 2 in rural Wayne county as a pickup truck driven by 20 year-old Travis Foster of Promise City approached, traveling eastbound. Frost lost control of his vehicle on the ice-covered roadway and crossed the center line and was struck broadside by the Foster’s vehicle.
Frost was pronounced dead at the scene, while Foster was injured and taken to an area hospital. Both men were wearing seatbelts.
