MASON CITY – A Mason City man charged numerous times with driving without a valid license was picked up yet again by police Tuesday.
Monte Dean Neubauer, age 50 of rural Mason City, was picked up by Cerro Gordo county deputies at 5:21 PM at the 1400 block of North Delaware Avenue on a traffic stop. He was arrested and charged with driving while barred, a charge he has faced over a dozen times in the last 10 years. He’s been stopped and arrested at least five times in 2013. Since 2012, Neubauer has had 5 charges of driving while barred dismissed while pleading guilty three times to that charge.
Neubauer is a convicted felon, accused of numerous crimes ranging from drug possession, to felony theft and burglary.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
News flash, people aren’t perfect!

I don’t understand why the police don’t arrest all the people that drive around with no license plates. I buy mine every year — it isn’t fair to law-abiding citizens. I emailed the PD Chief about this once and he said they don’t have time!

Yeap i ermember reading that story here on nit and seeing the video. This man is aggressive and just plane nasty. I bet he kicked the horses too. He oughtta be locked up just for the driving offenses but gets away with everything it looks like. Is he some kind of rat of drug informer or what? why does this man keep getting away with everything for gods sake colleen weiland wasnt even is judge on most of these raps and he still walked.
I agree! If you go to online courts you’ll notice Judge Grupp was his judge. I’ve heard she lost a daughter to a drunk driver so I’m a bit confused as to why she would suspend MANY of his sentences.
Grupp doesn’t even have a daughter, she has a son, who is alive and well. This is the problem with all or you Rubes. You sit home waiting for your Social Security checks and pontificate out of nothing but pure ignorance.

I’m pretty positive her daughter got hit/killed in Hampton years ago.
Maybe it was a relative of hers. But I know a Grupp girl was killed.

It’s illegal to discriminate on the basis of SS checks. Society does not have to check their civil rights at the door when you come knocking.
Looks like the judges gave him just as many ‘suspended sentences’ like they gave Mr Stricker for abusing/killing his horses.

Put them to work doing city chores…. our councel won’t approve it. They say it’s about the insurance. There’s got to be a way to put these loosers to work! Other citys have made it happen.
Put them to work shoveling in the winter and keeping the ditches clean in the summer.
