MINNEAPOLIS – The Minnesota Twins this week signed pitcher Ricky Nolasco to a four year deal worth $49 million.
The right-hander Nolasco, who played for the Dodgers last season, signed the biggest contract for a free agent in team history.
“It’s cold here in Minn! But I like how the snow looks!!” Nolasco tweeted Monday. “Such an exciting day in Minn! Great meeting so many good people. I would also like to thank (the) Dodgers for great times and memories I will never forget.”
Nolasco has a career 89-75 record and a 4.37 ERA. He finished 2013 with the Dodgers, after being traded by Miami, going 8-3 with a 3.52 ERA.
