WATERLOO – On Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at approximately 2:07 PM, Waterloo Police were dispatched to Wells Fargo Bank, 191 West 5th Street on report of a robbery. The teller reported that a lone white male entered the bank and gave her a note demanding money. No weapon was shown and no one was injured. The suspect left with an undetermined amount of cash.
Responding officers located a person matching the description a couple of blocks from the bank. He was detained and taken to the Waterloo Police Department. The case remains under investigation. No names are being released at this time.
