Iowa escaped convict notice

Work Release is a minimum security setting which allows offenders an opportunity to gradually adjust to the transition between prison and the community.

DATE OF ESCAPE: August 2, 2013

COMMENTS: Brown was placed on escape status at after failing to return to the facility from a three hour furlough. Brown was transferred to work release from parole on May 23, 2013. This sentence began on September 7, 2010. Information as to Brown’s whereabouts should be reported to the Cedar Rapids Police Department or Linn County Sheriff’s Department.
