KAZAN, Russia – Iowa State senior Melvin Ejim scored eight points and grabbed seven rebounds in Canada’s 94-85 win over the United States at the World University Games Friday morning.
Canada finished pool play 5-0 to capture first place in Pool C. The Canadians will face the second-place team in Pool D, which will be either Brazil or Finland, on Sunday at 9 a.m.
Ejim is averaging 7.2 points and 5.4 rebounds while playing 18.4 minutes per game.
