The documents, which the school provided to the Chicago Tribune, revealed the South Bend, Ind., school paid coach Brian Kelly $1,088,179 for a reporting period of July 2011 through June 2012.

The school also paid $2,054,744 to former coach Charlie Weis during the period as part of a separation agreement that previously saw him receive payments of $6,638,403 and $2,054,744.
