MASON CITY – Agents with the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation converged on a Mason City residence Wednesday morning.
Unmarked law enforcement vehicles, 5 in total, were parked at the 1500 block of South Delaware Avenue. The vehicles had license plates from all over the state, including the counties of Polk, Henry, Pottawattamie, and two from Scott.
Agents were inside the residence located at 103 15th Street SE, owned by Dwight and Carol Miller. The agents could be seen taking photos of the property.
There was no official word at why the agents were at the residence nor what they were investigating, but neighbors said that a “relative was wanted and had been in Mexico.”

they have two son’s who r sex offenders and both have been to prison one of the sick f***s was on the run for 10 yrs and when he did finally turn himself in only did one yr and a day and now he is hanging around another single mother with a lil boy .. plz anyone involved with either of the son’s stay the hell away cuz they will drug ur child and take pic’s and the mother and father have to know what is going on .. i hope they take the sick f**k back to prison and throw away the key
Do you know what’s even sicker? I’ve had women, in a round about way, offer their kids up to me if I date them. This was many years ago, but I never forgot it.

I checked the sex offender registry and didn’t find ant of this guys kids on it. Did I miss something?
You assumed that every sex offender would register, some simply do not.

I searched every offender in the Mason City zip code and every offender named Miller. I also looked for one of his kids by first and last name and didn’t find him. The state puts you on the registry. It’s not a voluntary thing. If your whereabouts are unknown you’ll still be on the registry. I’m not trying to defend anyone here, I’m just seriously interested because I don’t live that far from the Millers and I sometimes have to deal with them at my job. I like to know what I’m dealing with.
It is the convicted’s responsibility to update his address and/or register if out of convicted in another state.
