Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships Release

Men’s Preview:

Ohio State University and Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium will host the 2013 Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championships, scheduled to begin Friday and run through Sunday. Wisconsin looks for its second consecutive conference title and 19th overall after totaling 121 points at last year’s championships to earn the win. Nebraska was second with 115.50 points, and Indiana was third with 115. Ohio State (86 points) and Iowa (80.50) rounded out the top five.

Women’s Preview:

Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium at Ohio State University is set to host the 2013 Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championships, scheduled for Friday through Sunday. Last year, Ohio State took home its second consecutive Big Ten title, compiling 117 points en route to first-place honors. Illinois and Nebraska finished tied for second with 110 points, while Penn State placed fourth with 87 points. Wisconsin rounded out the top five with 78 points.
