NEW YORK, May 4 (UPI) — Joakim Noah’s double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds Saturday lifted Chicago to a 99-93 win over Brooklyn in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference series.

Noah overcame a sore foot to sink 12-of-17 shots from the field.

Marco Belinelli filled in for the injured Luol Deng, scoring 24 points as the Bulls advanced to play the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Deng — who was hospitalized before the game with complications from a spinal tap — and Kirk Hinrich (calf injury) missing the do-or-die, first-round game.

Carlos Boozer added 17 points for the fifth-seeded Bulls, who won a Game 7 on the road road for the first time in franchise history and now go to on face defending NBA champion Miami Monday.

Deron Williams put in 24 points while Brook Lopez added 21 and nine rebounds for fourth-seeded Brooklyn.
