NBA: Miami 110, Milwaukee 87

MIAMI, April 21 (UPI) — LeBron James provided 27 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists for Miami Sunday in its 110-87 win over Milwaukee, opening a first-round NBA playoff series.

Ray Allen helped out with 20 points and Dwyane Wade chipped in with 16 for the Heat, who went 30-2 after the all-star break en route to the best second-half winning percentage in league history.

Chris Bosh also reached double figures with 15 points in top-seeded Miami’s one-sided win to open their Eastern Conference series.

Milwaukee got 26 points from Brandon Jennings in the setback, which came after the Bucks finished the regular season by going 6-15 down the stretch.
