NCAA: Louisville 82, Colorado State 56

LEXINGTON, Ky., March 23 (UPI) — Russ Smith fired in 27 points Saturday and top-seeded Louisville stayed routed Colorado State 82-56 in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.

Gorgui Dieng added 12 points and Montrezl Harrell chipped in with 11 for Louisville, which forced 20 turnovers and breezed into the Sweet 16 for the second straight year.

The Cardinals (31-5) will face Oregon in the Midwest Regional at Indianapolis March 29.

Greg Smith led the eighth-seeded Rams (26-9) with 14 points and Daniel Bejarano scored 10 for Colorado State.
