AUSTIN, Texas, March 24 (UPI) — Mike Rosario drained six 3-pointers en route to 25 points Sunday and Florida rolled into the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 with a 78-64 win over Minnesota.
Erik Murphy scored 15 points as the third-seeded Gators (28-7) gained their third consecutive Sweet 16 appearance.
Scottie Wilbekin had 12 points and six assists for Florida, which will play 15th-seeded Florida Gulf Coast at the South Regional semifinals.
Andre Hollins paced the 11th-seeded Golden Gophers (21-13) with 25 points, including and six 3-pointers. Trevor Mbakwe provided 11 points and six rebounds for Minnesota.
