NEW YORK, March 11 (UPI) — A federal jury in New York Monday ended a third day of deliberations without reaching a verdict in the so-called Cannibal Cop case.
New York cable TV news channel NY1 reported the panel will resume its efforts to reach a decision in the trial of former New York City police officer Gilberto Valle Tuesday morning.
Valle, 28, is accused of conspiring to capture, kill and eat several women, including his wife. Valle’s lawyers maintain he never intended to carry out his fantasies.
