NIACC men play at Kirkwood on Tuesday
CEDAR RAPIDS – The NIACC men’s basketball team plays at Kirkwood on Tuesday in a Region XI first-round tournament contest.
Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
NIACC (19-11 overall, 6-8 in the ICCAC) earned the seventh seed in the regional tournament. Kirkwood (18-12, 9-5) is the tourney’s second seed.
NIACC splits its two regular season meetings with Kirkwood. The Eagles topped NIACC 68-61 on Dec. 7 in Cedar Rapids and NIACC stopped the Eagles 85-80 on Feb. 6 in Mason City.
The semifinals for the regional tournament are set for Thursday with the finals being played on Saturday. The higher seed in the tournament hosts in the semifinals and the finals.

No. 8 Clinton (8-19, 2-12) at No. 1 Iowa Lakes (23-6, 11-3)
No. 5 Iowa Central (17-13, 7-7) at No. 4 Southwestern (15-14, 7-7)
No. 6 DMACC (16-12, 6-8) at No. 3 Ellsworth (16-12, 8-6)
No. 7 NIACC (19-11, 6-8) at No. 2 Kirkwood (18-12, 9-5).
