KKK fans not allowed to return to game

FARGO, N.D., Feb. 24 (UPI) — The three freshmen who wore KKK outfits to a North Dakota hockey game were not allowed to attend the subsequent championship game, school officials said.

A picture of three fans wearing white robes and pointed hoods at the Fargo Davies, Red River High School playoff game Friday went viral on social media, KXJB-TV, Fargo, reported.

Students from Red River High School told Valley News Live that three students were told if they wanted to stand in front they had to dress in all white.

After the hoods with holes for eyes were up for a minute, their peers told them to take them off, KVLY-TV, Fargo, reported.

The picture created a major buzz online and the three students weren’t allowed to attend the game the next day.

Associate Principal Chris Douthit said the school now wants to move forward after the incident.
