WASHINGTON, Jan. 26 (UPI) — Nene put in 16 points and Emeka Okafor was potent at both ends of the court Saturday in the Washington Wizards’ 86-73 victory over Chicago.
Okafor finished with 15 points and 16 rebounds, and John Wall chipped in with 15 points and seven assists as the Wizards won for the seventh time in 10 games.
The Bulls got nine points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists from Joakim Noah and 19 points from Nate Robinson, but their three-game winning streak was snapped with the setback.
The Bulls’ Carlos Boozer was hobbled by foul trouble after being assessed both a flagrant foul and technical while battling Okafor.
