CEDAR FALLS – The UNI Panthers men’s basketball team (11-9 overall, 4-4 MVC) will take a two-game road swing to Indiana State on Saturday and Evansville on Tuesday.
UNI and Indiana State (12-7, 5-3 MVC) will tip at Noon (CT) on Saturday in Terre Haute, Ind. UNI will stay on the road and compete against Evansville (12-8, 5-3 MVC) on Tuesday in Evansville, Ind., with a 7 p.m. tip.
UNI won its third straight home game against MVC competition by a double-figure margin for the first time in the history of the McLeod Center. UNI has defeated Bradley (84-53), Drake (85-55) and Southern Illinois (58-45).
UNI is ranked No. 87 in the latest RealTime RPI. UNI’s strength of schedule ranks No. 16 in the nation. UNI ranks No. 10 in the nation in free throw percentage (76.3 percent). UNI is the top-ranked free throw shooting in team in the Missouri Valley Conference.
