WASHINGTON, Jan. 23 (UPI) — U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s popularity hit an all-time high, 67 percent, in an ABC News/Washington Post poll released Wednesday.
The poll, conducted Jan. 16-20 among a random sampling of 1,033 U.S. adults, found Clinton with a substantially stronger favorability rating than that of Vice President Joe Biden, who was viewed favorably by 48 percent of those surveyed, ABC reported Wednesday.
Clinton and Biden are widely viewed as the two most likely contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, although neither has announced intentions to run.
The poll results — released as Clinton was set to testify on Capitol Hill about the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attacks that killed four Americans in Benghazi, Libya — found 35 percent said they “strongly” view her favorably, while 14 percent say they “strongly” view her unfavorably. The measure of so-called intensity of sentiment found 22 percent “strongly” view Biden favorably while 23 percent “strongly” view him unfavorably.
Clinton’s numbers appear to give her an advantage over Republicans considered early front-runners for their party’s nomination in 2016, ABC said.
U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., was comparatively unknown in surveys conducted last summer, while former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was viewed favorably by 36 percent and got an unfavorable rating from 45 percent of those polled at that time. Voters were about evenly split on U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., GOP nominee Mitt Romney’s 2012 running mate.
Clinton leads Biden among Democrats, Republicans and independents — with a 23-point advantage among independents. She leads Biden by 29 points among Hispanics and by 4 points among African-Americans.
The poll has a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.

Clinton had terrosits attacks during his terms , World Trade Center first bombing, plane trying to fly into White House , Kenya ,Yemen ( Cole) Saudi Arabia , Ok. City. He went right after all of them after he got that cigar out of his mouth.

Late 2003 we found an oil storage/refinery under a mountian on the north side of tikrit. Plus west of fallauja they found an underground training camp for al queda. Sure we found him eventually but he had alot of time to bury things. We found jets buried under the sand by mosul with biological missles and bombs on them.

Slick willy was admired for his ability to get out of jams….. I myself like to admire people who don’t get into jams in the first place. @joe, there was WMD’s in iraq as well as al queda training camps there. I saws both with my own eyes. I took pictures of the WMD’s but when word got back to my supieriors they confisgated my camera.

I just watched a show the other day talking about the war and the weapons of mass destruction. We went to war based on faulty intelligence from sources who exaggerated because they wanted us to get Saddam out of there. The intelligence came through the UK via MI6. If you want to blame someone, don’t blame Bush. Blame the intelligence communities that relied on this faulty intelligence and the people in our government, CIA, and Congress who examined the intelligence, AGREED with GW Bush and voted to go to war. There have been other posters on NIT who say they saw weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. We know that 200 tons of yellow cake uranium was quietly sold to Canada to get it out of the Middle East. Quit saying that BUSH LIED. He didn’t lie. He was misled just like everyone who received and relied on that faulty intelligence. You’d be screaming bloody murder if they had ignored it and Saddam had blown up Israel or some other country over there like Iran is likely to do because the present administration is soft and ignoring all the signs.

Ms Clinton’s poll numbers are well deserved. She has worked hard theses last four years to repair relations with other countries. Listening to her testimony, she understands that our immediate threats are coming out of north Africa. She set a record for the number of countries that she visited while performing her duties. I’m not sure if she has any intentions of running for President or not, but if she does she will deserve the opportunity to have her views heard.

According to a couple senators yesterday that she has flown over a million miles and that the state department is the most wasteful spending department in the government.
I watched part of her testimony and she is either lying of incompetent if she does not know why it makes a difference if the murder was because of a video or just a couple of guys walking by. She spread the video idea for days following when she clearly should have know what happened. She also left that embassy unprotected in a country with basically no government in place. So what is she lying or incompetent.
You may have that chance, it seemed like most of the senators were doing nothing more than kissing her ass, I only saw 3 that asked hard questions the rest were all treating her like royalty.
I do not like polls because they usually are not correct. But, I watch Hillary testify yesterday and I must say the lady has balls. She doesn’t back down from anyone. I thought it was terrible that some of the politicians took this opportunity to make abig show out of this bad situation. Do I think the Obama Administration was trying to cover this up? YES, I do. Do I think Hillary was involved in that? NO, probably not. I can say that I wish she had been the one running for President. This conservative would have voted for her instead of MCCain.
Hillary just survived some serious helath issues and I am glad she is ok and I thought was she strong at this inquisition. I would pick her over Biden, or any neanderthal the GOP runs.
