WATERLOO – At approximately 1210 hrs, on Sunday January 6th, 2013, Officers of the Waterloo Police Department responded to a reported stabbing at 2070 Locke Ave, Waterloo.
Upon arrival officers located one stabbing victim at 2070 Locke Avenue and one stabbing victim at 2064 Locke Avenue. Upon further investigation it was learned that one of the victims had sustained self-inflicted stab wounds. Both parties were taken to local hospitals where they are currently receiving medical treatment for their wounds which are believed to be not life threatening.
The investigation is continuing and no further information will be released at this time.
