Proposed Reconstruction of U.S. 63 from Hudson to Waterloo to be Discussed Jan. 15

iowadotlogoAMES, Iowa – Jan. 3, 2013 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Tuesday, Jan. 15, to discuss the proposed Portland cement concrete reconstruction of U.S. 63 from south of Iowa 58 in Hudson north to U.S. 20 in Waterloo.

The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. at the Hudson City Hall, 525 Jefferson St. Iowa DOT staff will be available to individually discuss the proposed improvements. In addition, a formal presentation will be made at 6 p.m.

Through traffic would be detoured during construction of the segment of U.S. 63 south of Iowa 58, using Black Hawk County roads D-46 and D-35 and Iowa 21; and the segment north of Iowa 58, using Iowa 58 and U.S. 20.
