Milwaukee – Former Minnesota Timberwolf star Latrell Sprewell was arrested on New Year’s Eve for disorderly conduct, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has reported.
According to the Sentinel, citing jail records, police received repeated complaints about loud music coming from a house on E. Pleasant St. on Milwaukee’s east side.
Police had received complaints about Spree’s loud music in the past.
Yahoo Sports reported that In July 2011, Sprewell was named one of Wisconsin’s most notorious delinquent taxpayers, owing the state some $3.5 million in unpaid income taxes.
Sprewell turned down a $21 million contract from the Timberwolves following the 2005 season and never played in the NBA again. He said the $21 million wouldn’t be enough to feed his family.
