MASON CITY – The NIACC volleyball team presented a check for $4,025 Tuesday to the Mercy Center for Breast Health from the Lady Trojans’ Think Pink volleyball event in October.
The check was presented to Shari Showalter, the breast health specialist and nurse case manager at Mercy Center for Breast Health.

“We are very proud of our volleyball team, nursing department and countless others on campus for their efforts for this fund-raising event that will benefit individuals of North Iowa,” NIACC volleyball coach Chris Brandt said. “We would also like to thank North Iowa Anesthesia Associates and all our sponsors for supporting this event.”
The 2012 Think Pink sponsors were North Iowa Anesthesia Associates, Clear Lake and Mason City Fareway, Central Park Dentistry, Dean Snyder Construction, Two B’s Lawncare, MBT, Farmer’s Coop-Dows and West Scott Farms – Muhlenbruch Brothers.
The 2013 Think Pink match is set for Oct, 30, 2013 against the Waldorf College junior varsity.
