No. 3 NIACC men cruise past Madison, 90-51MASON CITY – The No. 3 NIACC men’s basketball team snapped a two-game losing streak with a 90-51 victory over Madison College Sunday afternoon in the NIACC gym.
Freshman guard Sam Skogen (Mason City, Iowa) led the Trojans (10-3 overall) with a career-high 17 points.
NIACC led 55-26 at the half and outscored the Wolfpack 35-25 in the second half.
NIACC returns to action next Sunday at home against the Waldorf College junior varsity.
NIACC women roll past Madison, 78-50
MASON CITY – The NIACC women’s basketball team evened its record at 5-5 with a 78-50 victory over Madison College Sunday afternoon in the NIACC gym.
Freshman guard Lateeka led the Lady Trojans with a game-high 21 points.
NIACC returns to action Wednesday at home against Marshalltown Community College in its ICCAC opener.
