NIACC pitching camp set for Sunday

MASON CITY – Openings remain for Sunday’s softball pitching camp at NIACC.

The pitching camp is open to high school players in grades through 8-12.

“We are offering an opportunity for high school age pitchers of all levels of expertise to add some tools to their pitching pitching toolbox,” NIACC softball coach Tyler Sisco said.

The camp is from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday in the NIACC recreation center. Pitchers must bring their own catcher.

The cost of the camp is $50. A total of 30 players can attend each camp.

Registration forms are available at niacctrojans.com. Make checks out to NIACC softball and mail to 500 College Drive, Mason City, Iowa 50401. For more information, contact Sisco at (641) 422-4432.

Also, the lefty/slapper camp is Sunday, Jan. 13, the hitting camp is Sunday, Jan. 20. Players should bring their own bat and helmet.

The catcher camp is Sunday, Jan. 27. Catchers should bring their own gear.
