MOUNT PLEASANT – A Vinton man was killed after falling from a tree stand Saturday in Henry County.
Clint Michael Lawrence, 38, was found at approximately 8:30 p.m. where he had been hunting near Mount Pleasant. It appeared that he had fallen approximately 17 feet from the elevated tree stand while deer hunting.
The incident is still under investigation by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Henry County Sheriff’s Department.
