MASON CITY – The Mason City School Board will meet Tuesday at 5:30 PM at the Administration Building for its regular monthly meeting.
Randy Meyer, Supervisor of Grounds, will present a proposal for partnering with North Iowa Area Community College on a project to make improvements to the clubhouse and dugout at Roosevelt Stadium.
Special recognition by the board will be given to Jessica Staudt, Harding Elementary 4 Grade Instructor, who received the Helen Finken Award during the Great Lakes Regional Social Studies Conference. Ms. Staudt will provide the Board with information about this conference and the award she received.
On informational items, a report on the food service program will be presented. Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services Hal Minear will provide information regarding recent accomplishments of students and staff members. Randy Meyer, Supervisor of Transportation, will provide the Board with an update on district transportation. Superintendent Anita Micich will provide updates to the Board on the Blue Zones project.
A request for the Mason City High School Vocal Music Concert Choir to take an out-of-state, overnight trip March 29-April 3, 2013, to New York City, New York.
