FOREST CITY, IOWA, October 4, 2012 – Winnebago Industries, Inc. (NYSE:WGO), one of the leading United States (U.S.) recreation vehicle manufacturers, today announced Niles Whitehouse has joined the Company as western area sales manager.
In his new position, Whitehouse is responsible for the sales activities of the Company’s Winnebago®, Itasca® and Era® motor homes in the western portions of the United States and Canada, and oversees district sales personnel in those areas.
Whitehouse, 43, has over 18 years’ experience in the RV industry, having most recently served as district sales manager for Forest River, Inc. Past work experience also includes 13 years with Fleetwood Enterprises, serving in a variety of positions, lastly as director of sales, as well as sales related positions with other RV manufacturers and a large Texas-based dealer network.
Whitehouse attended Woodcrest Christian High School in Riverside and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and political science from California State University in San Bernardino. He and his wife, Tifani, and two children will relocate to the Forest City area.
