Paul William Blakey, Jr., an inmate assigned to the Iowa Medical and Classification Center, died Monday, September 24, 2012 in the prison hospice program.
Blakey died of natural causes due to metastatic melanoma.
Blakey was 53 years old and serving a maximum sentence not to exceed 5 years for Sex Offender Registration Violation-2nd or subsequent offense from Scott County. This sentence began on March 4, 2011.
