Three Individuals Charged with Election Misconduct in Iowa

Council Bluffs, IOWA — A DCI investigation into the 2010 and 2011 general and city elections in Pottawattamie County has resulted in three individuals being charged with Election Misconduct (vote fraud), a Class D Felony.  Those charged are 52 year old Albert Harte-Maxwell of Council Bluffs, Iowa;  49 year old Linda Harte-Maxwell of Council Bluffs, Iowa;  and 40 year old Maria Ayon-Fernandez of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

According to criminal complaints filed, Albert Harte-Maxwell, Linda Harte-Maxwell, and Maria Ayon-Fernandez are all non United States citizens who registered to vote in Pottawattamie County.  Albert Harte-Maxwell voted in the 2010 general election and 2011 city election, Linda Harte-Maxwell voted in the 2011 city election and Maria Ayon-Fernandez voted in the 2010 general election.

Complaint & Affidavit

Albert Harte-Maxwell, Linda Harte-Maxwell, and Maria Ayon-Fernandez turned themselves in to law enforcement today.  All three individuals were booked into the Pottawattamie County Jail and released on their own recognizance.

This investigation was conducted through the cooperative efforts of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Pottawattamie County Attorney’s Office.

these three people are not the real problem here. the problem here is the fact that these people (and maybe others)were able to get registered to vote in the first place without being US citizens. the fault lies with the registration process. you really cant blame these wanna be voters, who likes the united states enough to want to live here rather than their own country. AND ANOTHER THING. IF YOU DONT VOTE THEN DONT BITCH DAMNIT!!!!

“GOOD” job DCI, this is just the tip of the ice burg in Iowa, so to speak, don’t stop now. Whoever is in charge in the DCI that set this up and followed through, should run for president. Oh wait, they haven’t been convicted yet, so don’t say anything to the people in DC.

No, we don’t need any voter ID laws or proof of citizenship. There is no such thing as voter fraud.

Why are they not in jail? Why have they not been also charged with immigration law violations or temporary visa violations?

This is why we need voter ID’s and proof of the legal right to vote.
