MASON CITY – According to Mason City police, officers responded to an argument Wednesday on North Federal Avenue.
Five Mason City Police Officers and an animal control officer responded to a disturbance situation at 938 North Federal Avenue at 2:42 PM Wednesday.
Mike McKelvey of the Mason City Police Department said later Wednesday that “the final reports are not in but it appears several people were arguing about two dogs at large. No arrests were made so far.”
McKelvey said more information would be available Thursday.
On Thursday, McKelvey said “One group was supposedly walking a dog near a residence. It’s not clear if the dog from the residence was on its own property but not restrained or if it was actually at large. The people walking their dog said something to the other dog owner. Words were exchanged back and forth that agitated both parties. Police arrived and mediated the situation and got both sides separated. No charges were filed.”
On May 17th, there was an incident at the same residence where a person allegedly threatened to use a knife on another person.
We all need to look in our own back yards before slamming others! There is more help needed in this town than just slamming others for their mistakes. The Fosters have been through hell and like Deoshea said her mother is on life support!! And you people need to get a life and a heart and leave this family alone. And stop slamming others!!! We are all young at one time and have made mistakes!! And she should not have to sit there and defend herself to people who have nothing better to do than talk about others!!Like she said she has not been in trouble for 2 years!! And we all should be saying a prayer for her mother on life support. We don’t hear about the people who get caught breaking the law if they have money for an attorney cause they buy their way out. I have lived here all my life and people have always been quick to slam people when they need to be looking in their own back yards!!!!

What’s the big deal? Wasn’t there more commotion at the house across from Kum & Go north a few years ago, never saw any coverage on that. There’s a fine line between news reporting & harassment.
If you didn’t see the coverage a few years ago on the house just North of Kum & Go it’s because you just were not looking. Not only was there reporting as I recall there were picures. It was the time when the Jones kid got stabbed.

Well it is just this kind of thing that our worthless city council. is trying to put a stop to. The cops have been there 4 times in 2 weeks and that is just the last 2 weeks. How do I know some may ask? I live and own my house right next door to this shit. I asked one of the cops that was here when they were going to do something about it, reply was he would love to but it doesn’t work that way and that they are very tired of coming here but it is there job. I just wonder how long Service master who owns the building is going to put up with this. They have evicted people for a lot less than what we have had to put up with. I grew up with the Foster’s since way back at Grant school, they are not bad people and were not raised this way.
Do you remember when that building was Masters Chiropractic many years ago? I remember going in there with my mother when she had her weekly adjustments. Was a nice place and neighborhood back then.
The cops got called cause a neighbor of mines dog ran at me and my dog off his property, i yelled at the guy to get his dog on a leach, and the guy decided to throw racial slurs at me, includin a lady who was with him. That pic that is taken above was me talkin to the officer, it was nothing bad at all, he was tellin me how he wasnt originally from here. And as far as me goin in and out of jail, i am proud to say i havint been to jail in over 2 years and still going. Save the lies for people who care. As for the fed up thing, that shits old now, i could careless what anyone of you say. all you will do is take what i say and turn it into a debatful argument. That money went to were it was said, people bought the shirts at the price they would as if they walked into the store. None was overcharged what so ever!, And all the shirts went to their owners like it was supposed to, and the 3 other calls idk what the hell they think 4 times, it was 3 all together, 1 was my uncle being beligerent, and wouldnt leave my moms house, ” which she wasnt there cause she was in the hospital on life support” 2 time was mins later cause someone was on the property who was trespassing., is there any other question i can answer, because most of you love to read and take shit out of context or make it into somethin more than wat it really is.
How do you put a dog on a leach?
Perhaps they were trying to dissolve (leach) the dog. Or maybe the dog needed a blood-sucking leech. Then there is the possibility the dog needed to be on a leash. We’ll probably never know.
Matt-you just keep right on reporting problems we have in the North End. It’s the only way we know what is going on. This Foster girl has been in trouble for a long, long time. It is a shame because I know some of the family and they are not all bad at all. She gives blacks a bad name with her attitude and issues. I just wish the decent blacks would say enough is enough and start coming down on the ones causing all the trouble.

With this kind of response by our law enforcement, and the history at this location, yes, I send a photojournalist. I did receive a phone call, and other messages from the public that an incident was unfolding there. There was obvious interest from the public. We delivered the pertinent information.
