MASON CITY – An alleged cell phone thief is being ought.
According to a North Iowa woman, Jenna Orozco, a security camera at the Orange Possum store in Mason City has footage of a woman taking a cell phone on Tuesday that did not belong to her.
“There is a picture on Orange Possum’s facebook page of a lady that stole a phone from an employee of the store yesterday,” Orozco said Wednesday. “The security cameras show her every move. The phone is replaceable, but there are over 14 months worth of pictures that cannot be replaced…all of MY BABY…including the day she was born. ”
UPDATE: As of 2 PM Wednesday, the phone has been recovered and returned to its owner. A suspect is still being sought.
The photo that was provided is posted below. If you have any information on this incident, please call Mason City Police Department at 641-421-3636.

Iowa State Stinks.
I lost my keys. Will NIT do a story on that too?
Young and dumb she better hope she don’t end up in jail. There’s some real nasty’s locked in there right now.
Nothing that young about her. She’s 44. She knows better.
Shit gets stolen everyday, this story did not impress me one bit
NIT didnt post this article to impress anyone, and especially you! They posted it to ‘Catch A Thief’ idiot! Get over yourself.
An Iowa State fan wouldn’t have done this.
Really….just like every other Hawk fan. You guys have won the National Championship the last 20 years right ?? Loser
Mason City should of spent that $40.000 on security cameras for the north end. Just like the live eye on the sky.
Now, aren’t those security cameras great…
They found the phone. This woman went into Iowa Cell Phones & Repair and tryed to sell it. She just got busted!
Thought the article said she has not been caught?
