MASON CITY – The Mason City Mohawks will open their football season against the Ames High Little Cyclones tonight at Mohawk field at 7 PM.
Mason City was 2-7 last year and 0-5 in the CIML Iowa Conference.
Ames finished the season 4-6 last season, losing in the Class 4A playoffs in the first round to West Des Moines Dowling.
This is the first team that has all been coached by Coach Penner. So alot of pressure on him and the boys to do good. Good Luck Mohawks!! Hoping for a winning season!
