One in custody following break in at funeral home

MASON CITY – Mason City police responded to a report of a burglary at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel located at 126 3rd Street NE shortly after 6 am Wednesday morning.

Mason City police later arrested 32-year-old Dennis Gene Chlupach who lives in an apartment a few blocks away at 410 1st Street SE.

Chlupach was transported to the Cerro Gordo County Jail and booked in at 11:28am. Chlupach has been charged with one Class C felony count of 2nd degree burglary, one serious misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance, one simple misdemeanor count of 5th degree theft, and one simple misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Early Thursday morning Chlupach remained in the Cerro Gordo County jail on a $10,000 cash or surety bond.

 

SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY

I really try to restrain myself when it comes to name calling or judging other people, because I don’t think that I’m better then anybody, but, how far will these lowlifes go??? This is really pathetic…
